Why a DIFFERENT Bingo?

If you are tired and bored of the same Bingo games played by your residents all the time and would love to spice up the Bingo sessions a little more, then I suggest you read on. But first, let me tell you how I came about creating Flip™ Bingo and the need for something different.

For several years I was an activity director at a local assisted living facility and then at a retirement community. As all activity personnel knows, Bingo is just about the most popular activity that can be put on the activity calendar. If it were left up to the residents, Bingo would be played every day and without a doubt, it would be all day long at that!

However, as fine and dandy as that may seem, there are a lot of residents that will not play. Many will say they are not interested. However, after talking with those individuals, you may find out that was not really the case. In retrospect, when discussing their past experiences with Bingo, they really would love to play, but because they have vision problems such as Macular Degeneration, cataracts or other issues, it makes it impossible to participate.

And the people that do try to play, find it much too difficult to focus on the numbers. Some will use the enlarged reproduced copies with hand printed numbers, but sometimes that still is not the solution. In that case, they feel as if their Bingo playing days are over. How sad.

Flip™ Bingo vs. Regular Bingo

Flip™ Bingo is ideal for those individuals with low vision, learning disabilities and early onset dementia and it can be mainstreamed in most cases with the regular Bingo crowd. In facilities which have residents with different skill levels, Bingo sessions can be scheduled accordingly for those with special needs.

Because of appearance, it LOOKS like a board game and makes this version of Bingo different and a lot of fun to play! It's unique because of the "flipping" action of the card and each "pattern" can be played at least two different ways – doubling the fun!

The card sets are easy to carry and delivered in special packaging for easy storage. The cards are made in the U.S.A. and are earth friendly because they are so easy to clean.
